Just remember to be kind to yourself. I have the habit of thinking I know a lot less than I do. Or feeling I can't do things that I absolutely can. Push yourself and do the things that scare you. Otherwise other people will do those things, get credit and you will still feel dumb.

Don't tell my family, but this little "vacation" has been amazing. Last night I finished a book. Got delicious food I didn't have to share. Played some Switch. Got some work done. Watched mindless reality TV. Got a full night sleep & woke up refreshed at 7am. This may become a regular occurrence...

Power came back yesterday afternoon, but still no internet and no restoration time provided. Now in planning mode looking for a possible hotel for tomorrow so I can actually work :/

Finally got an update about an estimate for when the power is coming back… tomorrow, 8pm. Thankfully we have a generator and a wood stove! Ended up with somewhere between 12-15” of snow ❄️❄️❄️

Snow storm causing lots of trees to fall knocked my power out. No restoration time available.
