This video is showing how the game ended up when we published it, it also shows how the aiming system was completely changed hearing a lot of playtesting we did but the concept stayed the same and I think it really gave the game a unique identity.
The first video I ever did for the prototype of Astrodogs. I was thinking of the unique twist that this game would bring to the gameplay formula, and I created a bullet time mechanic that would feel amazing on PC and Switch Gyro because it would also let you free aim #indiedev #gamedev

I was inspired by Avatar The Last Airbender so I picked the 4 elements to try to "bend" and test some physics to see how it felt. I think there's some real fun to be discovered here, I want to retake this project once I am done with my current things.
Months ago I started working on another mechanic prototype for a Magic System in VR with a staff. With the grip button you start "casting" and a rhythm starts, each beat will register the direction you are swinging your staff and different combinations will cast a different spell. #gamedev #indiedev

I was very proud for this code as I do some interesting stuff to calculate exactly how different a texture is from another, but I accidentally deleted this project. Thankfully it is all in my head though! I hope I find the time to continue this project, I've been working on worldbuilding for now.
The size of the box represents a standing, crouch and prone position, and the rotating box with the white/yellow/red square represents a detection system factoring lightning, texture and character position.
This is a mechanic prototype for a stealth game I still want to make, inspired by Metal Gear 3/4. The number in the middle represents how 'invisible' you are currently, and when you stay still next to a surface you will slowly assimilate the texture that geometry has. #indiedev #gamedev
