On the excellent @tombogert.bsky.social report about Whitecaps having seven offers on the table for players.
Those names include Cubas, but also Ahmed, Berhalter, and Blackmon. Club would like to keep as many as players of course for next season.
A few other Whitecaps notes. Andrés Cubas has an offer from Paranaense, which a few have reported. The club or player is contemplating it at a moment, but no decision has been made.
Cubas' family is quite settled in Vancouver, and it would take a massive offer for him to leave.

He's still so young, and we think he can build so much muscle mass, and with a little bit of tactical tweaks, he can become a really good defender as well.
Areas of improvement, of course, everybody has – for example, in the air, how to initiate the contact, how to deal with the [attacker's] run in the box. But really good potential.
