Obviously, I cannot feel at all bad about Secretary Noem’s ignominious departure. But I have to wonder, do Trump’s other cabinet member and advisors see how little their obsequious loyalty buys them? Even his friends are expendable.
And as a bonus, the Chairman is making sure Scouts continue to use the land appropriately.
One of my biggest pleasures of the last 5 years was negotiating for 790 acres Redwoods near Big Sur to be returned to the Esselen Tribe when Altman was offering 50 times the asking price. The land had been donated by Hearst to the Scouts in 1947. I made sure the deed restrictions were solid.

I appreciate and agree with the sentiment. But none of this is good. It’s a dangerous game. We need a president after this who will refuse to hold on to this power and who can lead us to amend the loopholes that MAGA exploits from our Constitution.
