A reminder that you can always turn down media requests! And you can use that refusal to, ah, add some editorial commentary. Also printing your refusal gets out ahead of publications who might present it disingenuously in an article in the hopes of making you look bad.
I was there in support of the staff and membership of the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia specifically, but was more than happy to wave a “SUPPORT MUSEUMS” sign. We were all there to support each other.
