Finally able to do my exercising with weights after barely moving all week due to illness. It went surprisingly well, other than some coughing fits caused by the deeper breathing. I don’t seem to have lost any strength or flexibility as I feared I might.

The river I see from my window changes colour depending on weather conditions. Today it looks green. Other times it’s blueish, silver, or gunmetal grey.

Thinking a lot today about how much of that disablism comes from people who identify as progressives and fail to understand how disablism, eugenics, and larger histories of oppression are deeply tied to one another. That includes, BTW, disabled people who fail to engage with overlapping oppressions.
