So it is a war then
So it is a war then
That’s the one!
OK, hands up who thought Starmer was the new Churchill?
I used to be quite anti-emoji, but recently I’ve learned that a 👍 can act as an effective conversation full stop for a text exchange. It is really quite helpful.
Mouse’s history lesson for all political leaders: bombing countries always, always hardens the population against those doing the bombing.
My guess is that the bombing will achieve nothing then Trump will seek a face saving “deal” with the regime, which will be worse than the 2015 deal.
All this when we had a nuclear deal already in 2015, which Trump threw out just to try to make it look like Obama was soft on Iran.
That is pretty much my read at this point too. So much for “help is on its way”. The poor people of Iran will suffer further.
And what regime is it hoped this one will be replaced with?
Can anyone help me understand 1. the legal basis for attacking Iran and 2. the military objective(s)?
Honestly I tried everything. It wouldn’t even let me copy and paste it!
Maybe I should switch it off and on again?
Something wrong with this book. The URL link doesn’t seem to be working!
Trump really should (but probably won’t) get panned for his handling of Iran. He killed the nuclear deal we had, pushed Iran away from diplomatic and economic relations, bombed them (falsely claiming success) and is now scrambling to put the original deal back in place. Would you trust him now?
What is particularly galling is the opportunistic responses from organisations trying to make cash off this report - “Come to our seminar and buy our book on how to prepare your church for the Quiet Revival”.
The Pew Research Centre has published a quiet demolition of the Quiet Revival www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/...
The baptism was difficult, but the preparation classes were the really tricky part.
Every year we hear false predictions from Tesla about electric trucks, robo taxis and the like, but he seems to get a pass on what any other CEO would be punished for when making forward predictions to stock markets.
This needs to be looked at. Soliciting investment on the basis of patently fantastical claims is in any other context called fraud.
Getting angry about poor food in a restaurant then saying it is very nice when the waiting staff ask if everything is OK.
Premier league!
It’s a no from me
Let me know if I’ve missed any!
I was skeptical about the quiet revival, but I think I have stumbled on it
My guess is approx 9 people
Afraid I have no idea.
Any idea if this account is genuinely the Archbishop? Looks convincing.
He lasted 9 days in his last denomination, so …
It seems Calvin Robinson has been accepted into his sixth denomination in four years. The English Catholic Church of North America. Ever heard of it?
