And for a non-speaker, his Spanish is fantastic. I can tell how much work he’s put into his pronunciation. The fact that he’s already multilingual definitely helps but I can hear the work he’s put into those soft D’s and his B/V. His vowels are all on point too.

As a huge Deep Space Nine fan of many years, the newest Starfleet Academy episode is one of my favorite Trek episodes ever. Lore-building and affirming without indulging in too much fan service. All the surprises were perfect. The end had me choked up. Beautiful. Well done.
