Bsky is saving image files as webp now. Is there a reason for this sudden change? @bsky.app

If this is about retaining image quality, you gotta think of different way. Trust me, no one likes webp. The whole web loathes it.

It seems to be converting some image file types, not all. I see that jpgs so far are unaffected. But PNGs or any large image files are.

Daicon 4 is a truly labor of love, and an example of ingenuity and not needing money to create something beloved. The broke students had to pool money to buy 1 animation cel, then ended up cutting up vinyl shower curtains to use instead. The frames would start sticking to eachother as it was filmed.
