I think if we cut the freeways in Dallas back to I-635, and replaced the right of way with additional transit lines and/or walking and biking paths, we could improve quality of life and health for Dallasites.

Not to mention that these streets have sidewalks that are so narrow (to allow space for cars) that you feel constricted and compressed. It's not a good feeling at all.
