Our current thought is hopefully some people will watch Charlie more closely and Charlie will hesitate to do this again, to someone else. If that is all we accomplish here, that is enough.

Given the amount of hatred aimed at this account currently, none of us are willing to continue running it. Even if we presented our evidence now, we would be accused of fabricating it. Unfortunately, we did not plan this well and planning for Indigo's crisis wasn't possible.

Hi, I'm Wiskey. Indigo, the person who started this account and was running it, is currently experiencing a family crisis and just sent me the account information to update things. I'll keep this brief.

The evidence isn't fabricated, unfortunately it is very real

We did not, however, do any of the screenshot editing required to protect our identies beforehand. Mostly from a lack of volunteers to risk being potentially outed

ONE of us has stepped forward. They are editing as I type. Patience

It will be coming. The evidence we have requires editing to remove details that would identify members of our group

We really don't want to deal with what this account has been dealing with on our main accounts

Pics and receipts are coming. I've had a couple people not even associated with this account reach out and say they are getting random attacks, so one of us is willing to take the potential hit

The avatar was a bad choice. It was a meme we found and didn't see the fine text, we're sorry. Changing

I was just dealing with one for the last hour and finally blocked them. They were not listening or communicating. Honestly I think they were a lot angrier than I was. I was just tired of their constant pings and refusal to read the entire skeet

I've seen a lot of that from them, but admittedly it's been almost two years for me. It's possible they've stopped calling out people who mildly offend them publicly and started doing... this

Some of our members are much more recent to this story than I am. The older of us wish we'd spoken sooner

It's happened a few times. I was witness to I think three before it happened to me

It looks very different in there than it does on this end

I wish check through the exchanges and see if there is anything that won't be too identifying, but I can't promise anything. If Charlie figures out who that screenshot came from, none of us want their attack dogs on our personal pages

I have blocked the account that was acting like a very loud attack dog and nitpicking every small thing while ignoring most of the details we are comfortable providing

While we do have screenshots and receipts, we wish to protect our personal accounts from this exact behavior. Apologies

It's probably worth noting that on Charlie's end, it probably looks quite different. They will have painted themselves the victims to... whatever they said we did

Which we didn't. It was so bizarre from our angle, as well as painful. We all really loved Charlie before these blindside attacks

Admittedly, they may have deleted the receipts on their end in the Discord, but they did call out tweets pretty regularly on Twitter. I don't know if they're still doing them on Bluesky, but I assume

That is not what the abuse was

I'm a survivor of emotional, physical, and psychological abuse in addition to this editor's emotional abuse

It wasn't 24. I did say "around" but if it pleases you,they say it was 27

No, but abuse is abuse is abuse

And people do always come for the victims more than the abuser

I said seven, and that manuscript, the person in question would have been fine with a dozen, but around two dozen did feel excessive for "ready to publish"

It's my understanding that if a survivor or a victim steps forward, even anonymously, it might be wise to listen to them

All of us chose to do what was right for our books. While we don't have any idea why Charlie suddenly attacked us, we've speculated that might have been why. Or about four other things we don't know

We're not trying to ruin their livelihood anymore than Charlie tried to ruin ours

Missing around seven things seems forgivable in a Big 4 published book these days. That was a book Charlie had declared ready for immediate publication

We've all worked with new editors since. We're all a lot less new to things than we were. I've worked with four now, none of them as frankly abusive to my writing and my ego as Charlie was

We never said they were! Charlie maligned our names after finishing our books and after a period of perfectly normal interactions but without any provocation on our sides. It literally came from nowhere

We didn't tag them or respond to anything they skeeted here

We are merely presenting what actually happened

I am sorry the truth offends you. It offended us too. The person running this account is the least traumatized by this, the others are deeply affected
