Whatever one believes the purpose of life to be, they have to live that purpose each and every day. #meaning #meaningful #wisdom
Really enjoying reading The Golden Road: How Ancient India Transformed the World. Demolishes the idea that the West rose to power on its own steam.
We have to constantly remember our life's purpose so that we don't sabotage it or just waste time doing fickle things that contribute nothing to that purpose. Of course we need rest and rejuvenation but need to recognise when it takes the place of our purpose.
Democracy operates best when there is care and respect. When we care about the world, others and the truth, we share our views on things openly and respectfully. We also listen carefully and respectfully to the others' views.

Time passes, life rolls on and on... and we often get stuck doing stuff that by the time we reach the end of our lives, we wish we had not spent so much time on. Better to see the end in the beginning and ditch that stuff now.
Great article that highlights the importance of altruistic action in the world! Thanks for sharing!

Mindfulness is important. But should we sit all day focusing on the breath? We need to take mindfulness from the meditation cushion out into the world. We need to develop worldfulness: being fully present to the world within us and around us.
