Meet Smudge! She is a 2 month old kitten and the newest addition to our family. We have always had two cats since 2010 so it’s nice to fill the void that Milo left over a year ago. Our older cat Salem is watching Smudge’s every move.
Last night was an absolute BLAST!!
Meet Malumbra, derived from the Latin words malum (evil) and umbra (shadow). Because of his size, his shadow is the last thing people see before being taken without warning, making him the perfect henchman to gather victims for Havoc.

Another school year has arrived, and this year Spencer is starting middle school! These two just grow too fast. And Oliver’s 2nd grade teacher is a big Disney fan so he will have lots of Disney Parks facts to talk her ear off about, haha.
The kids have returned from their annual camping trip and today Spencer turns 11 years old! How is she already 11?? She has grown so much lately and I love her with all my heart.
We have a pretty EPIC day planned for her birthday today!

Good morning from SeaWorld Orlando! Excited to be doing the SeaWorld Rescue Run, my first official SeaWorld race. Representing my favorite former park show with my shirt and necklace.
From SEA LIFE to SeaWorld. So excited to be reunited with my former LEGOLAND coworker Gabriela to help produce new social content for the SeaWorld parks in Orlando! We’ve shot and brainstormed some great videos this week, cannot wait for everyone to see them.
Lunch at work today included this big fella staring at me nearly the entire time. My job has quite the unique surroundings.
Ever since Oliver hit 48 inches at Epic, he has talked so much about finally being able to ride TRON Lightcycle Run. We just got off his first ever ride and it was Spencer’s first time in the regular seat. They both LOVED it and want to keep riding over and over again.
Last night I worked my first big content shoot at Aquatica for this year’s AquaGlow event, and Sidney helped bring the kids out to participate. Everyone had a blast and I am looking forward to experiencing the full event when it starts for the summer tomorrow night!
I’m thrilled to announce that today I have started my role as the newest Marketing Specialist for SeaWorld Orlando! I’ll be working closely with PR & Social and I am so excited to continue showcasing my love of theme parks and storytelling with the amazing team here at SeaWorld.

Was going through old photos and wanted to share these photos from the two times I got to visit SeaWorld San Antonio as a kid in the 90s. I completely had forgotten I had a photo of me riding the old Texas Splashdown log flume!
I wish there was one closer to the Disney area! Closest ones are either in St. Cloud or Winter Haven from our house.
Had a wonderful day at LEGOLAND Florida yesterday for the inaugural LEGO Festival! Got to work on this a little bit before leaving and was excited to bring the kids to experience it. Lots of build activities and new LEGO characters to meet. Happening every weekend until June 8th!
We hit a big theme park milestone during our Epic Universe visit this week. Oliver is now 48” tall and Monsters Unchained was his first attraction to ride with that height requirement! He was so excited but did get scared by the end. Spencer on the other hand LOVED it so much!
I’ll share lots of stuff over the coming days from our family visit to Epic Universe yesterday, but want to start with this clip of Spencer & Oliver entering the main portal for the first time. Spencer especially is just in awe as she gazes out over Celestial Park.
Surprise! Spencer and Oliver had no idea we were taking them out of school today to take them to EPIC UNIVERSE for their first visit! Spencer was overcome with emotion. Cannot wait to experience the park in a new way through their eyes!
Spencer and Oliver have no idea that tomorrow morning their route to school is making a little detour to a place they have not visited yet but have been wanting to visit for so long.
It’s going to be an EPIC surprise.

Cosmic Rewind was down when we were last at EPCOT for Oliver’s birthday, so we are back today and Oliver has a new jacket to cement his place officially with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
