We stand with that young fan, hoping the situation did not cause too much unnecessary distress on what should have been a joyful day at the football.
Following the incident where a young girl was denied entry to an Aleague match due to a national flag being present on a football jersey she was wearing, we have written to the APL seeking clarification around this for supporters moving forward.

Happy New Year 🥳
As we enter 2026, our questions remain:
Where is the vision?
Where is the leadership?
And to put it far more bluntly….
Who the hell is actually running this show?

As FIFA remains silent on its accessibe ticketing for the FIFA World Cup 2026, we've written to the United Nations special rapporteur on the rights of people with disabilities with our concerns.
Fans with disabilities are not being listened to & will literally pay the price as a result.
Great discussion on the latest episode of Round Ball Australia including the immediate priorities of incoming #ALeague CEO, Steve Rosich.

Black-and-white graphic with a close-up of hands holding the FIFA World Cup trophy. Large text reads: “FSE Statement: FIFA’s ticketing policy is excluding fans with disabilities from the 2026 World Cup.” The Football Supporters Europe (FSE) logo appears on the right side against a black background.
We’ve written to FIFA President Gianni Infantino to warn #WorldCup2026 ticket prices will exclude fans with disabilities.
High prices, charging for companions, & unchecked resales without price limits will cut them out. FIFA must act on this now.

Let us be very clear: this baby's rattle is not awarded "on behalf of billions of fans around the world", as FIFA claims. It’s nothing more than an ego-stroking stunt.
This is a deeply troubling day for football & FIFA.
