Well said, sir! As someone who does genealogy, I can confirm that some ancestors made crappy decisions. An example from today is asking the question about why communities of color get less funding? Typically followed by gentrification or eminent domain for large scale industrial development.

A word choice i made earlier has been bugging me all day. Not "bearable," but rather "well-known," or "stereotypical" to the point that people are numb to them. The pictures that come to mind when we hear 'slavery.' The reality of medical experimentation rips the scab off the numb.
