After 75 hours, I finally beat Metaphor: ReFantazio. It’s truly one of the best RPGs I’ve played in a while. Highly recommended for those looking for characters that you actually care about. I’ve been deeply moved a lot by the back stories of the members of your party. I just loved my experience!
It’s wild how gatekeeping and ableism get dressed up as ‘concern’ for gaming. Accessibility doesn’t trivialize interactivity… it expands it. Games are for everyone. The ‘rules of the game’ don’t break when more people can enjoy them. This elitism is exhausting.

Wow… We didn’t have any accessibility options in the game at the time of your review. We added them in patch 1.4 in May because we were getting trash reviews on Steam since some people couldn’t beat Gorgezer, the 2nd boss of the game, and they were complaining. It’s sad you have to go through this.
Oh yes, it’s out on PS5 and it’s running pretty great! Got my platinum already, I had no choice to do a complete run of my game! 😅
I recently read a stunning letterpress edition of The Paper Menagerie by @kyliu99.bsky.social, published by Conversation Tree Press. What a fantastic short story! The tale of Jack and his family was deeply moving and left me feeling quite sentimental. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends.
I just finished a rewatch of Inception with my oldest son. What an epic movie! The reveals are so satisfying. Another great movie by Christopher Nolan!
