Sometimes when I say β€œcome for a walk” she says no.
Today she said yes πŸ’™ so we headed to a bluebell wood near our home and it was magical 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The last trophy Newcastle United won was the Fairs Cup in 1969 - my dad was part of that team and I reckon he’s as chuffed today as he was then! #nufc #carabaocup

Work is most rewarding when it has the potential to change, and save, lives.

Today was one of those days as I was privileged to support ASH Wales give evidence to MPs.

We’ve worked so hard to get this far. Commissioning research, gathering evidence and communicating rationale.

Onwards.

I am Andrew. She’s a great person. Uni or an apprenticeship- still deciding. She wants to do aerospace engineering at the moment. Might change of course. How are yours?

BBC Radio Wales - Borrowed Time Featuring the stories of those who are at the end of their lives

It’s a decade since I produced this documentary series about end of life.
As relevant and poignant today as it was then.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who shared their story and to the BBC for keeping this work available to audiences.

There’s a fascinating interview with Manic Street Preachers in the new Mojo by Dorian Lynskey. This, from James Dean Bradfield, feels particularly poignant. The disappearance of the culture you’re born into & made from can be really disconcerting. It’s pretty much inevitable, but it can really hurt.
