Which I did do…many times 😅 Though surprisingly, the rainy forest scene ended up going so well and was one of the few pieces I didn’t have to re-paint.
I used watercolor and colored pencil for this book (a first for me), and I had to keep reminding myself that it was okay to mess up a painting. I would just have to paint it again.

Take frequent breaks for stretching/exercise. Even if it’s just 5 minutes to stand and stretch. Nothing worse than injuring yourself when you’re on a deadline and then you’re truly out of commission 😅
