in may we're putting ben in the brazen bull! 💯
illustrator takes this this issue to its fundamentals, where if you do the intuitive thing of clicking on a layer and hit delete, expecting it to delete the layer, it simply doesn't. you need to click the trash can icon
all image editing software is surgically designed to be annoying as hell at doing something that's otherwise extremely practical to demand of it, but what that 'something' is depends on which editor you're using
this is also clearly the best thing to do while hardware supply is totally fucked from morons that peddle AI
we need a console using seemingly bespoke inane design decisions again. get intel on the horn, we're wheeling out the alpha isa. graphics hardware? oh you bet it's fully custom nonsense that takes, at minimum, a year or so to get a handle on
been almost another full day and can say with full confidence that i am certified ailing from the #malady. my ass is indisposed and enfeebled as fuck
might be getting sick since I went to the store yesterday #FuckGroceries #TheyTouchedOnTheFood #BlowUpYourGroceryStoreNOW
I post something similar like every 6 months, so the idea is to keep doing it until I muster the executive function to do something about it
I need to get rid of some of the jp yaoi vols I have. my shelves are full and I want to make more stupid purchases in the future
do you ever think about how there are thousands if not millions of people in earth who experience a hobby you both share in a way that is completely and utterly alien to you
Digital drawing of Isa from Signalis. She is turned 3/4 from the viewer with a worried expression. She is covered in bandages and old scratches. Behind her is Death tarot card from the game. She is standing in place of the "knight" figure, and the spear's shaft is replaced with a cut through the paper, with bright red light seeping through it.

every time I see anything about marathon, I'm like damn, this art style bangs. unfortunate that all of that work went into an ass genre of game. kind of thing you'd buy an art book of without actually engaging with the source
new kicks
easily my most anticipated game from this Next Fest
CICADAMATA (store.steampowered.com/app/3817250/...)
If you liked Neon White, you'll love this game and its killer OST. You have to pick up 4 cores in each sphere and then exit the level while racking up scores tied to enemy dispatching and how quick you do it all at once.
Helix: Descent N Ascent (store.steampowered.com/app/4371160/...)
Very cool puzzle game with an extremely pretty monochromatic art style. Not shown here, but this demo has some absolutely bonkers animation sequences in it that completely caught me off guard. Will definitely be playing the full game
Kind of hard to review this one off the cuff, since it really falls down to how much you gel with the movement mechanics mostly. Doesn't really grab you with the visuals alone. Also it doesn't really establish a narrative in the demo.
CHASM SHIFT (store.steampowered.com/app/4302110/...)
A neat little 2D precision platformer that has you exploring a huge mechanical dungeon. Not the most distinct thing in the world, but it has reasonably solid movement. Takes a lot of inspiration from Celeste
Blast Cats (store.steampowered.com/app/2007430/...)
Straight gas if you want a faithful throwback to old-school 3D platformers. Genuinely surprised at how solid the demo was. I heavily fuck with the heavily rave-inspired OST
FLY2K (store.steampowered.com/app/3807220/...)
eh, this felt kind of whatever, personally. Closest thing to a 3D equivalent of Flywrench, but the thing is Flywrench is way more mechanically deep and interesting. Something you'd see at an arcade, try once, and move on from in its current state.
VHOLUME (store.steampowered.com/app/4131730/...)
very cool first-person game in a megastructure/city setting where you parkour your way through dilapidated looking environments
really hope the final game expands the platforming with a few other mechanics to really flesh out the movement options
next fest mini game reviews (even for games I didn't particularly like)
remember our promise. 🔻 #signalis
I'm cancelling all of my art.
I need time to relax and bounce on some dick.
I'll post new art when I feel like it...
marx failed to consider uhh *spins wheel* playing nintendo gamecube hooked up to *throws dart* a 5 inch TV while using *sticks hand in hat* a ps1 controller
given the consistency of the soup that rolls out of some campbell's soup cans, in theory i'd be able to handle dog food no sweat #protein
