Probably the most legitimately garbage food I occasionally still crave was shredded frozen hashbrowns fried up and then topped with one of those banquet frozen dinners, specifically the veggie fried rice.

A lot of cats love soy (why? I cannot say). The actual amount of salt needed to give them salt poisoning is substantial (something to the tune of 3g of sodium per kg the cat weighs), so don't let them drink a saucer of it or lick table salt. But a little soy sauce won't hurt them.
