It's also fucked up that the Doctor had an extended scene torturing that genocide victim? I know the episode portrays it in a bad light but I feel they didn't have to do that to that extent or at the very least punished the Doctor more severely.
With that said, there are issues with the whole poltical aspect of it. Things that irk me about it.

This story is extremely politically charged and airing it literally before Eurovision is bold af. I respect it.
