A game I made with my brother when we were kids- an Odie looking dog forced-runner like Canabalt. It has locations based on the BBSs we’d call. I need to hook up a proper stream so I can play without holding my phone. :)
My cycle counting isn’t great but 64mhz background change every few pixels stabilized but not uniform. Scanline interrupt starts bd I change the background color in an almost uniform way.
In 64mhz mode on the C64U basic is fast enough to change the background color on specific lines in a loop.
I’d love to see those! They’re probably way cooler than you remember.
It’s fun going back to files that I made when I was a kid. I gave up on this interrupt routine, but I was able to clean it all up now. I was also finally able to restore the bitmap with some clever hex editing. not my music. Forensic reconstruction w/C64U.
