Saw Crime 101 today based on the maestro Don Winslow’s novella. Nice old school slow burn crime movie with a loaded fucking cast. Worth a watch in the cinema.

Hell to the yes on Delroy Lindo getting an Oscar nod. I still think he deserved one for Get Shorty, but Sinners and his monologue are transcendent.

Got my 2k words. Now, sitting by the fire working my way through the absolute beast that is Tom’s Crossing by Mark Z. Danielewski.
Ripley is exhausted from laying there most of the day.

Attended an MLK Jr. celebration filled with such diversity it reminded me that even while we live in this nightmare administration right now, we fight the darkness with light. We come together to remember and remind what Dr. King fought for. Resist hate, fight back with love and kindness.

Had a good year of writing: wrote less shorts but finished my first novel, published 3 shorts, got another acceptance and now long listed for a horror contest from the great Uncharted Magazine.

One helluva good year for short fiction from Keith. Very good reads, all. Nice work, my friend.

Not to brag but my family offered to drive me out to the middle of nowhere, leave me for dead. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Hope you got lots of books.

Three things:
1. Glad Jake Paul finally had a real fight and got his jaw broken.
2. Ese cabrón isn’t Puerto Rican and most definitely doesn’t represent my country.
3. If you hate folks like Jake Paul and have any kind of love for PR, this book is for you.

Just hit the half way point and had that wonderful epiphany we love, when the rest of the story revealed itself to me in one fell swoop. That “ah ha,” moment is worth all the imposter syndrome.
