A Basement is an extreme luxury from north to south, usually found on old houses. So playing around in one was/is extremely rare, taking in consideration if even the basement was open enough to be played in and not just a storage room

Makes sense, yeah it is the acting out of your own turn kinda the issue honestly. 0:
0: If a suggestion could be given, I think it is better if you interchange your turn order number, card, initiative, whatever term or gameplay mechanics you use between players.
So at least it is more of a decision they make than just a mechanic.

The hot glue was useful at first but it can mess up thermal labels so I recommend using a regular glue stick or super glue. Here are some final results

Today I did some paper minis using the label printer at work and some cardboard from a Pkmn deck package. Since the label machine only prints black and white because it is a thermal thing, I used markers for color
