Strongly agree with this rec. I read Lonesome Dove for the first time just a few years ago (in my 40s) and it instantly became probably my favorite novel ever.
Speaking as a young Gen X, this list is entirely accurate. Though they’re all signature songs to me.

Made yet another visit to the Center for Puppetry Arts over the weekend to see their latest special exhibit before it closed…. Anyway, if you’re never been and you can make your way to Atlanta, you should go. These posts are a fraction of what they’ve got. (7/7)
