A possible workaround came from a team led by @uwmedicine.bsky.social's Ernie Blevins. They gave obese rats a low dose of a #GLP-1 drug along with the hormone oxytocin, which is itself an appetite suppressant. That allowed the rats to lose weight without feeling sick. @uwendocrinology.bsky.social
We had a great turnout for #Cranksgiving, biking food from local grocers to area food banks. Several folks donated funds directly. Everyone had a wonderful time! Over 6,500 lbs of food donated!! Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃😀🚴♂️
