It's spooky out here man. That's why you really gotta figure out who you are and what you want, ground yourself in it, become relatively immovable, and block anything that ain't that from getting near you. Folks will take and use and abuse any chance they get.
Digital illustration of a half man, half orchid praying-mantis hybrid. The creature has an upper torso of a human in a praying gesture, with a teal crown floating on his head, and a teal sword impaled through his chest and out his back. His mantis half is doing the same gesture, and its wings are splayed open. The character's skin is a pale pink with rosy pink hair and mantis legs, but with teal green embellishments; his upper torso has green tattoos, and his mantis body is adorned in ornate patterns, and his wings are a vibrant teal and turquoise color.

Here is my secret hidden wisdom. If you like drawing, and you like porn, try drawing your own porn. It's A) fun as fuck, and B) it will legit make you better at art. Sounds obvious but it took me years and years to try it.
ppl who still commission their favourite artists even in this era where everyone is broke and genAI is being pushed on us at every opportunityβyou are appreciated more than words can express!!!
their fruit has putrified
forbidden once and bound to die
the thread of life lies severed
on the brink of paradise
It's actually still around, but pretty quiet these days.

βMy good fetus, at age 42 Iβm on here because my generation founded and populated social media. Iβm not a boomer, nor even Gen X, Iβm a millennial. Youβre in my house.β
As many of u already know me & Tracey lost everything in a fire so we have to rebuild our lives from scratch.
U all have already done so much for us I feel bad asking but March 5th is my birthday if anyone would like to help us a little more we have a wishlist www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/...
I procrastinated yesterday by writing something I wish somebody had taught me.
I think our country sinks beneath the yoke:
It weeps, it bleeds, and each new day a gash
Is added to her wounds.
Idk what else to do, my car is not safe to drive right now but I have to drive to work tonight, I can't afford to miss as my other job hasn't scheduled me all March
This is an emergency type thing so if you can share and have a look you will literally be saving my ass

If an artist isn't able to visualise their ideas on paper (or on the screen) without the use of genAI, they are not an artist. I know some artists who aren't capable of visualising things in their head, yet they can still create stunning art. I know others who brainstorm their ideas and compositions with literal scribbles and stick figures, only to end up with a beautifully rendered piece. There is absolutely no excuse for a self-respecting artist to use genAI at any point during their process.
Someone over on Instagram saying that genAI is bad for art, but can still be used by artists who have trouble visualising their ideas.
I had to reply.
I only like them with peanut butter on celery. In baked foods and hot cereals? No thank you.

Post an iconic horror movie image.
I'm so glad I can draw and function without using AI. I'm so glad I can do basic things like jobs without needing it at all
A "Grandiloquent Word of the Day" meme for the word βPeriapt" with the pronunciation [PAIR-ee-apt]. The definition reads: β(n.) A charm or amulet worn as protection against mischief, misfortune, and disease.β An example sentence follows: βYoung Peregrine wore a small brass periapt against illness, though, in the end, it proved regrettably ineffective against falling pianos.β To the right are eleven small engraved illustrations of ancient amulets and talismans with carved symbols, animals, and geometric designs, all rendered in a vintage black-ink style on an aged parchment background.

This adopt is based on the Lion Dog of Asia (also called the Shi Shi, Fu, Foo, Komainu, etc.) which is often seen as statuary and iconic for its fiercely protective nature, symbol of prosperity, and luck. The fu dog illustrated has a lush, thick mane and tail of dark blue with lighter touches on the tips. The ankles and elbows also sport the same dark colored hair that stands out starkly against bright cyan and light blue markings across the body. Like the Northern Lights said markings on the body glow and shift across the dark greys of the coat. Some of these fade from mane to tail, between the shoulders to the rump, or along the belly to the knee. The muzzle is thick and lion-like with large fangs, the markings along the whiskers are bright cyan and blue that fade. It has the same on the nose with a spot on the brow. Around the fu dog's neck is a wide collar with a Japanese scale pattern, a pastel pink tassel, and giant gold bell. Beside the massive front paws is the iconic "ball" most fu dog statues are seen with. This design is available in my ko-fi shop (link) - https://ko-fi.com/s/b10fae7580
Updated my Fu Dog base, so it's time for a new adopt! Cool and collected, this guardian shimmers and shines like the dancing Northern Lights above! #tempusadoptus

baby goat centaur doodles from a million years ago still make me happy
a line art piece, A fallen elf knight lays on a patch of flowers, surrounded by nature and decay. The flowers cover their body and overgrow over their skeletal arm, their skeletal arm bacons the overgrowth. The frames are ornamental and medieval, with gothic windows and a ceremonial sword that resembles a sun. Over the drawing moths and night critters swarm, and the knight is pierced three times by arrows, bleeding. On the outer frames are a beetle grub, a scarab, a bird skull, and a bird feather
After so long detailing the lineart it's time for colors! Threw some mockup greys just for the sake of clarity, can't wait to bring these lines to life β€οΈ

To me, We're Back is the best on that list, but I have fond memories of growing up with each of them. I hope you enjoy it. ^w^
You are very welcome! It is ridiculous, but very entertaining, lol.
