It's a weird day because of the time change.
Naming some of the things that happened in the past and seeing them for what they are has been a powerful point in my healing. π I am not after any specific "results" within regards to the justice process. Getting the help I need is enough. Moving forward with my life is making me happy.

I still have not made the snow fungus soup that I bought all the ingredients for the other day. I hope I have the energy to make it soon. I am excited to try it.
US-Israeli strikes on four oil facilities in Iran released oil and toxic fumes into the air, leading to hazardous rain. Residents have been told to stay indoors.

In Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Congo β mothers are mourning their babies.
Resharing this piece I wrote over two years ago because weβre still watching a genocide happen, watching even more parents mourn.
Womenβs day includes these women too.

I will Google it. I have a cat, though. Hmm. π Thank you!
Yea, I am prescribed two vials for the whole month. I use half a vial a week. I try to keep everything as sanitary as possible and so far, so good. I am hoping I can talk to my doctor about how to address the hair loss soon as well. lol
Wow! My doctors give me needles with large and small gauges with the reasoning you described. I do subcutaneous injections but I used to inject into muscle years ago. Thank you for the clarification on this matter. I learned something new today. π
Regardless, I am grateful for my parents despite everything. I can tell they're changing and my Grandpa's death brought us closer.
I love that my parents changed their tune with me recently. Pretty drastically, too. They are trying their best to set me up for success in college. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, though. In the past, "help" came with strings attached or wasn't unconditional.
Weekly Art Jam meetup resulted in drinking and ink progress. Enjoy.

I get yelled at for saying this but for many hundreds of years people went to university not to get diplomas or be employable but because immersion in the humanities was considered foundational to a good life, and school must return to its original purpose: the joy of learning.
I'm grateful for my recovery and everyone who is part of it. π₯Ή I love how my health has been picking up since my hysterectomy, too. π
Fingers crossed for more development.

as @adamserwer.bsky.social so precisely and cogently many years ago, the cruelty is the point. the sadism is intentional.

There are some unspeakable horrors in this world.
Making art is what helps me stay sane. I never regret feeding my soul, expressing myself, learning new things, etc. I wouldn't be the same person without creative outlets.
I was once in a position where all my sacral energy was siphoned away on less important endeavors than art. It was awful!
I like to process trauma and Big Feelings in my art. It's also a tool to nurture my inner child.
It is nice to connect with other people and make friends with similar interests over what I draw sometimes, too. That's not the main reason to create, but it's a cool perk.
I noticed there are people that genuinely like pushing themselves, experimenting, and honing the craft as an artist. Then there are people who do it (not for the sake of it) because they're chasing money and attention. The reasons I do art are beyond social acceptance or material compensation.
