That said, I'm gonna call my shot:
Gecqua will end up bipedal by the line's final stage...but Pombon will not.

Far as I'm concerned, just go with what works best for the intended design. Two legs, four legs, either-or.
I don't see much point in requiring all starter evos be generically tough-looking just because that was what Gen 1 did. Especially when several bipedal starters have become fan favorites.
New PokΓ©mon generation, new starters, and there're already people loudly demanding they don't end up bipedal. Does anyone else think all the backlash gets overblown?
I get not wanting them to feel pigeonholed design-wise, but how much of it goes beyond critique and just becomes performative?
We've come a long way from 2018. Anyone remember all the discourse about how the series' 8th generation HAD to be happening a year early, so there would be flagship games on the Switch as soon as possible?
Seriously, did anyone see coming how consistently positive the reception's been to PokΓ©mon Winds and Waves? The biggest controversy has been skeptics refusing to believe the games will look as good as the trailer.
Even the reactions to releasing in 2027 have been "that's fine, take your time".
Based on that, what we saw in the Winds/Waves trailer is actually just what the crew at Game Freak can do when they have stronger hardware and a not-rushed dev cycle. Which is really promising.
Has any Nintendo trailer ever faked resolution or visual effects before? They've been more honest about how their games look from my experience. Hell, because visual polish usually comes late in development, the final releases usually look slightly better than the first trailers.
Two levels of future-proofing, no less. Having a distinct typing means they could add the stereo form to the core games later, and it's using Normal as a catch-all for an element that doesn't have its own type (sound in this case).
If a future game adds Sound/Light/etc., it can change no problem.
Narrator: "Mina the Hollower would not show up at all. Strangely enough."
Well, that'll be where we get a release date for Mina the Hollower. Probably. Hopefully there're a few other surprises.
Now I wonder if this affects the odds of a different presentation happening a week later around Mario Day...
I am nervously excited for Legendary M!Robin's weapon refine in a few days. His remix skill's already looking promising, but I want to see how it all comes together.
Low key hoping he gets an effect that lets him cleanse Ploy and Sabotage off himself and nearby allies on Player Phase.
(Yeah, I'm still playing Fire Emblem Heroes. Haven't said much about it because there doesn't seem to be much interest from those of you following me.)
Some things in life are inevitable.
Death.
Taxes.
Edelgard bustering out in Round 1 of the AHR Voting Gauntlet every year.
Anyone else remember all the talk in 2019 about how PokΓ©mon was doomed because it wasn't going open world? Grass is always greener on the other side, apparently.
My videos have been that way all along. I'd hoped to render in a higher resolution a couple years ago, but the computer I got wasn't as powerful as I thought it'd be. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can upgrade again, but until then, I'm working with the (not great) hand I've been dealt.
- NEW VIDEO APPROACHING -
Mario Kart World's had its ups and downs since launch, but the question on everyone's mind is: Where's the DLC? Let's speculate whether it'll still happen and what this theoretical DLC might be like!
Check it out, live on Youtube now!
Gotta say, I wouldn't mind if one of Mario Kart World's updates let you change the time of day in Free Roam.
Doesn't matter for anything other than aesthetics, but it sure would make getting screenshots during specific times of day less cumbersome...
Checked out my latest video yet? Hope so, because another one's coming up fast! It's available now for Early Access-level supporters (on Patreon or Youtube directly), and it'll be live for everyone tomorrow evening!
Just talked Smash, so how about some Mario Kart speculation?
- NEW VIDEO APPROACHING -
Speculation for the next Smash Bros. game has started picking up. So, let's take it a step further than everyone else and try to predict Smash 6's ENTIRE final roster way earlier than we reasonably should!
Interested? Check it out on Youtube now!
Been working hard behind the scenes, and now it's time to pull back the curtain. My next video is available now for Early Access-level supporters!
If you're not among their ranks, check back tomorrow for my most ambitious and (barely) longest video in over a year's time.
I'm older than you so I can confirm that they came with a little book that had the tutorial in it and you read it on the way home

If this isn't a one time thing, you might need a Castlevania alarm to go along with the Metroid alarm.
Gonna get sick of seeing that one in thumbnails if the next Nintendo Direct doesn't reveal the next Mario platformer...
I can't take full credit, I didn't invent the joke. But I did play saxophone from middle school up through university, so I'm legally allowed to say it. πΆπ·
I'm surprised they were able to post the OST without the main battle theme getting flagged for saxual content. π·
A little kicking, a lot of punting, and no action around either end zone. A battle of defense so far.
