New proof files have been submitted to DTRPG and will be in production very soon! Giving the ol' Fiddle with Electronic Gadgets a real workout as Adobe insists on pitching a fit about ICC profile versions.
We've discovered an issue with our softcover book not showing up properly on DriveThruRPG. Apologies if you've tried to buy and been thwarted by the forces of technology! We did a color settings overhaul this weekend to correct some minor print discrepancies. Please stand by as we re-proof.
A HUGE THANK YOU to @systemmastery.bsky.social for their review and link!! Their hilarious panel was one of the highlights of this yearβs Gen Con and we were incredibly lucky to meet Jef and Jon and personally give them copies!
We miss those days too! We kept the Space Nazis in the second edition, but we don't want to use them as much for exactly (gestures around) that reason. We'll create some new villains!
We're gonna try for one new adventure module per year going forward. We have a rough draft and a successful first playtest of our first, Eldritch Park. It's Cthulhu + Jurassic Park with a dash of Willy Wonka. Weaseloid entrepreneur John Hammcraft has a new theme park! He spared several expenses...
Yep! After an epic Gen Con, we realized we need to do more to get the word out. We will be publishing a new adventure for 2e next year, and in the meantime we hope to develop some fun, free content to distribute online.
Likewise! I would love to see the Night Watch walk into the Mended Drum one night and end up in The Floating Vagabond instead! Nobby would fit right in...
I love Steve Jackson, and I actually like Gurps. But I've always felt that your game captures the proper amount of wimsy required for a discworld session.
I'll hold by my suggestion (grin)
We've been on Bluesky all of 15 minutes and are humbled and awed by the love!
Awww, thanks!
Awww! Thanks for the mention! We love Paranoia too!
We're still figuring out this whole social media thing, but thanks for the mention! Our website is floatingvagabondrpg.com and it links to our Discord if you want to connect.
Discworld is indeed one of our top inspirations! There's also a Discworld GURPS from @stevejacksongames.bsky.social but we at Vagabond HQ haven't had the chance to play it yet. The art is gorgeous though!
Thank you!! We worked REALLY hard to make 2e a smoother play experience and we're not done yet. Feedback is always welcome!
Greetings from The Floating Vagabond! Now that we're (mostly) recovered from Gen Con, it's time to stretch those social media wings! We had a blast meeting so many amazing gamers from all walks of life!
