Parts of the cyclotron or at least parts that lead down into it from on top of giant concrete blocks. I’m sorry I have no idea how to describe all of these very technical components. There are lots and lots of wires too.

I spent the morning at the WORLD’S LARGEST CYCLOTRON (particle accelerator) which is located at UBC @triumflab.bsky.social thanks to @johnbiehler.bsky.social

Not unsurprisingly, I did something super nerdy last night - I got an Atari 800xl emulator (Altirra) running on my Steam Deck which then connected to Fujinet which is also connected to a local raspberry pi file server.

My cat really isn’t a fan of her new harness.

The Bluesky network abbreviation makes me think I joined the Banksy social network and I’m okay with that.
