The gaming market in India is indeed growing. One thing to keep in mind is that Free Fire makes twice as much as PUBG in India, because of its superior performance in low end phones. While a lot of new studios in India are making AAA games they are gonna have a tough time running it on these phones.

We use godot in our studio now. It can do most of the things that Unity can do for 2D games. Best thing is I can change the game engine code if there is an issue, can't do this with unity.
