The Fremont Solstice Parade was cute this year. The weather was not great for color.

More Auto 110 pictures on hand rolled Kodak Gold. If you shoot an Auto 110, you should really try re filling a cartridge. You can use whatever film you want and the frame size is larger.

The Seattle Toy Camera Club hosted a #holgaweek photo walk. I didn’t get any amazing shots but these three were decent.

I went on an evening walk with a friend through SODO. The light was nice. I don’t recommend Kodak Gold for night photography but I’ve had some good results with longer shutter speeds.

I’ve decided that I’m not going to submit work to shows or zines or whatever if the organizers won’t send a simple email to say you weren’t selected. It’s rude and lazy. We live in 2025, there’s no excuse.

Totally fair.

I love the original model. I found one that has been sitting in a box in the basement for sixty(ish) years and it works great!

The female photographers show last night at Zeitgeist Coffee. I was not glued to Instagram so I completely forgot it was happening.

John from The Find Lab in Utah came to Seattle a few weeks ago. He hosted an outdoor with flash portrait workshop. His set up was so simple and effective. You should have seen the look on his face when I pulled out a 135 #Holga loaded with #HarmanPhoenix200. And yet! It worked wonderfully.

I just reloaded two 110 film cartridges! This project has been in the works for weeks. Hopefully there aren’t horrible light leaks.

I don’t want to get too specific on a public platform since I think short messages can be taken out of context easily. Feel free to message me if you’d like to talk more.

I’m talking more generally. Individual people are great but group to group dynamics are weird. I’ve also noticed that there’s a racial divide. Where groups of white folks and groups of BIPOC folks don’t interact much at events. This plays out online as well as in person.

I went on an actual vacation to NYC last month. The first stop was a photo lab and I got #PhoenixII there. I used an Olympus XA (which I’m still thinking about selling). I like the results from the film. They’re softer than the original Phoenix and I’m excited to experiment more.
