I think the biggest thing to work on is finding a candidate that represents us progressively and realizing there most likely isnt the perfect candidate.
The in-fighting on who that person is should happen now so that we can parse it down to the best candidate and rally in 2027/2028 behind them
I disagree. I can support the 2026 midterms and still criticize the potential 2028 running candidates.
I actually think its important to do both.
We cant afford to have milquetoast leadership anymore and we also cant let an ass like Newsom lead either.
It starts with 2026 but possible candidates will start campaigning soon for 2028 so I think its important to shut down ANY talks of letting Newsom lead our party and this country
