Thank you!
Thank you!
Haha. Thank you! ๐
Geometry nodes are fun... ๐ฅณ #blender #b3d
A simple 3d render of a glossy orb with purple, blue, and pink gradients. A simple face, legs, and hair are doodled on top in a rough pen style.
Some orbs just need to be drawn on. #b3d #blender
Thanks! Yeah -- I wanted a more interesting spin than a flat rotation. I may play with the drawing over to see where that leads. Thank you for the ideas!
I tweaked the mesh frame by frame (increasing height of the front leg, pushing the back leg farther back) as needed to keep the seam touching. No idea if there was an easier way. ๐
Itโs an orthographic camera (axonometric) with a seam. Iโm using the Blender Paradox Toolkit add on (github.com/matgarate/Bl...), flat shading with grease pencil line art.
For some reason, I wanted to animate one of those impossible shapes spinning. Although I didn't completely smooth it out, I enjoyed experimenting with it. #b3d #blender
Thank you!! ๐
Thank you! ๐
Thatโs fair. I think both the nose and the mouth were quite a struggle for me ๐
Thank you! ๐
Sometimes, you just have to bake a loaf of bread. #baking
Thank you!! โค๏ธ It took awhile of fussing with it, but Iโm happy with where it ended up ๐

I thought I'd give sculpting a shot, so here's my first attempt at creating a human head. Not sharing how long it took, but I definitely enjoyed the process! #blender #b3d
Saw that term for the first time today (on LinkedIn)โฆand I 100% agree. ๐ฎโ๐จ
Thank you so much!
๐ค hmmmm. Does sound suspiciousโฆ..
And if you are like me and didn't know anything about Open Shading Language for Blender, I found this 6 video tutorial series to be extremely helpful: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaOM....
Learn more about Mixbox here: github.com/scrtwpns/mixbox. The color geek in me loved this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qa5...
Whelp. I fell down a Mixbox (pigment-based color mixing) rabbit hole. Along the way, I learned about OSL and then had too much fun making this. #b3d #blender
It was a mix of tools. Playing with the various tools to try and learn the options. Started with some cloth filter, and then some freehand sculpting on top to refine. Thank you!
A 3d render of a blue floor cushion on a white ground
Working on some floor cushions for my classroom scene and sculpting with the cloth filter in Blender is quite enjoyable. #b3d #blender
A 3d render of the corner of a kid's classroom with a cozy corner and some pillows.
Every cozy corner needs some pillows. #b3d #blender
A 3d render of some chairs and tables in a kindergarten classroom.
I've refined the table model. I am enjoying experimenting with lighting, although it's challenging. ๐ #b3d #blender
Thank you!
A 3d render of a few kindergartener sized chairs with a few tables and shelves
I made a chair. It's not perfect, but it should work well for my scene. #b3d #blender
A 3d work-in-progress render of a kindergarten classroom with shelves, cubbies, tables, and chairs.
I'm arranging more models in my classroom to find the right Feng Shui. I'm not there yet. ๐ #b3d #blender
3d render of a small room with some large windows, a couple tables and chairs, book shelves, art cart, and kid teepee.
Work in progress. As a parent of a new kindergartener, I couldn't resist creating a mini kindergarten classroom with all the adorable furniture. #blender #b3d
