Damn, he got me.
There are quite a few chess rogue likes that exist, but they're all very interested in the idea of playing chess like chess, I want to do something fundamentally different.
It would take some typically boring part of the game, and use that as the scoring mechanism, instead of the actual act of taking pieces itself, and would be designed around chain reactions and cool sequences of events, I'm gonna prototype this so hard.
I have a crazy idea for a Chess Balatro-like that could be super satisfying, and I'm praying that nobody has thought of it too
Man, am I seriously considering getting a PS5 just for Death Stranding 2?
I played the ARC Raiders playtest and just wow, there are so many things as a here that as a gamedev I have no idea how they're doing, and I think upon reflection that's why the game feels so magical to me.
Also check out this clip, I hope he likes his new robot friendπ
These look great! What's the process like?
Path of Exile 2 is amazing, fuck the act1 boss tho, what an asshole.
Yeahh, maybe it's an overreaction to the opposite nature at the start of something. Like don't get me wrong it's definitely too far at times, but I prefer this over X, it'll probably (hopefully) get better with time
idk dude, maybe your example was overkill but I like when that stuff is optional viewing. When I first joined it was the wild west of boobs and I don't even follow any of that stuff, feels like I have so much more control over my feed now.
For drawing I remember there being a really good implementation on an app called dotpict, but that's a very specific type of drawing.
Start it under your finger on press and move it upwards away from your finger quickly when the drag engages, I had a similar issue to solve once, and that was the nicest way we devised.
I'm thinking it won't, biggest reason Twitter sucks is that there is a money incentive to being inflammatory. Here they pledged to not do ads or any sort of post incentive, so that's a solid foundation.

I think the last step this tech needs to really pop off is more 'viewer' options, alternative apps to bsky's natives that can access the same data, and voila, a fully decentralised platform! I'm sure that will come eventually
This site is pretty amazing on a tech level, people are using it in a largely centralised manner, but the ability to go fully decentralised is amazing. You can host all of your own data and and even moderation services are decentralised. This is one of the first amazing web3 things that exists imo.
I made Twitter light mode now
Video essay with a rantsona.
This is Marceline!
Thanks! I am aiming for vaguely Source Engine aesthetic
Hello this is going to be my first whinge on this platform so I will do it nicely.
Can people please tag their suggestive or explicit work as such please? I would like to be able to show people this platform without being bombarded by it.
It's not even like i've liked this stuff on here, just art!
I love these vibes!
btw hello #gamedev sπ
You know what's refreshing, clicking Home and not feeling like I have to do janitorial work shovelling garbage out of my feed for once.
secret :)
Yes!
Bluesky went down for like an hour
Guess we're back. Does that happen often?
It's very very good on steam deck!
