Here's all the covers together, it's such a neat design.
Cover of NHK CD-G ๆฅๆฌใฎ้้ณฅใ็ฌฌ1ๅทปใๆฃฎใฎ้้ณฅ็ทจ1 - Polydor VOG-YC1 Shows the pitta from track 29. Rendered here as a short bird with a mostly orange and cream body, black stripe on the head, wings of green, blue, and brown, bright red lower belly. It is listed as a fairy pitta (ใคใคใญใใงใฆ), but the orange coloring may be more appropriate for another species such as the Indian pitta. The cover has the distinctive style of this series: The bird illustration is prominently pixelated, duplicated with the two copies crossing tails in the middle, overlapped by the vertical disc title banner.
A representative of the bunting family (ใใชใธใญ็ง) on track 32, here labeled grey bunting (ใฏใญใธ). But this looks more like a different family, the North American buntings, such as a blue grosbeak or varied bunting. Dark blue head and chest, reddish to brown wings and rear.
Scene setting image on track 23, a forest pond surrounded by bright green vegetation, reflecting a mountain and clouds in the background.
Eurasian goshawk (ใชใชใฟใซ) from track 33, one of few birds of prey represented in this series (most of the others I recall are owls). A heavily built bird perched on a branch, white body with brown bands, grey from the top of the head back to the wings.

With this I've finally completed the 4 volume set! I ran across volume 2 in 2024, it's taken a few years for the others to show up for sale.

Thanks for linking to my writeup! I figured I'd dig it out since VB is back in the zeitgeist, looks like it stayed on the Hacker News front page for a few hours this time.
Speaking of Virtual Boy, here's a clip from a Video Boy VUE, a tool from Intelligent Systems for showing Virtual Boy games on a TV or monitor. In 2021 I wrote up an article examining the hardware: hcs64.com/video-boy-vue/

Still have CRC32 on the mind. Here's something I've been thinking about for a while, correct a single byte error using CRC, checking with MD5 since these collide often with larger files: github.com/hcs64/crc-flip
Finally got the algorithm simplified, mostly publishing to get it out of my head.
Turns out I was half right. And less than half wrong.
