I think of it kinda like people who do hand lettering in their comics. Obviously their text doesn't have to be vector to print it, so as long as the lettering is the same resolution as your art it's probably fine, unless you're lettering in a publisher pipeline, then Adobe is probably required.
I don't think it's "true" vector. If you zoom in really far it does pixelate. The text tool in CSP is still a bit clunky but it's way better than it was a few years ago. It can handle auto ligatures now, and doesn't lag like it used to. It's imperfect but works for me.
I think Csp also has a way to export vector files now but I haven't tried it out much.
For what it's worth, I do all my Lettering in CSP and have never had an issue with printing. I work at 600dpi so the fact that its not true vector is less of an issue. But I also only letter my own work. If I were trying to letter other people's work I'd probably use Affinity.
Ryan is blowing me away with this stuff! Top tier graphic design work!

1. You probably have seen this panel. It's from JLA 80-Page Giant(1998) #1
It's a great short story. Only 10 pages.
This is amazing.

Creative people: What do you do for a day job?
My ideal semi-realistic scenario is I end up in printing full time but would love to hear what other people do to maybe get some more ideas. At this point I might need to settle for graphic design just to get out of my current very real hell.
Let me re-introduce myself. And why our campaign is doing things differently.
Haven't bumped this post in a minute. Check out my brushes!
God, this sounds great!
I love that tree!!
Just got hit with some bullshit bank fees and am gonna be into the overdraft for at least a week (likely more). If you can help my Ko-Fi is also linked but I am desperate for work!
Screen scree. Scree screeee scree screee.

Pages for My Neighbor Necromancer 3 are in progress. Super happy with how this issue is shaping up!
this is hilarious but we have a serious problem with what people think AI is, this is obviously on purpose for marketing, but oh my goddd
AI just generates what might fit as an answer to your prompt. That is literally were it ends. It's all bullshit, even when it might seem right. oh my god.
I became Senior VP at a multi-million dollar company at age 26. My salary was $600k. This was in 2018. How did I do it? Blacked out lines CEO (my dad) promoted me to SVP. There are no gimmicks. There are no shortcuts.
This is blackout poetry to me
!
You're entitled to that opinion.
Wow, you know that is some great context.
If I could maybe add some more context?
Ah, very cute! I present to you even less context!
Don't pour 100% into every page, work on getting your 60% to "good enough."
Canolli, obviously!

Ah man, that sucks. I'm sorry. Hopefully something else comes up soon.
Even though I am working on new things now, please consider purchasing (or asking your local library to purchase) my GN series ORCS!, which I am still very proud of and think you will like if you like all-ages psychedelic fantasy. Previews at my blog: christinelarsenillustration.com/blarg/tag/OR...
