fuckk,, a lil correction at "-something you're not used to like complex-" im a bit sleepy TvT

also im just saying this for no reason, i like talking about what i like grins grinningly

heck, it even made me start enjoying drawing buff or even fat characters, which i should definitely do more often

also look at your favourite artists, rather than copying them,, maybe try to dissect something about their artstyle you really like and implementing it in your way

i think one thing about improving art is you have to experiment even if its something you're not used to complex anatomy or even body types

it really helps if you want a simpler art style as you understand anatomy more and know how you can simplify it in the first place
