Yes, that gave me pause as well, on the left, the square autism clock, with red accents and going backwards, on the right, the round "regular" clock with green accent and going forwards.

I decided to read the version for autistic men on how a dentist fixes a cavity. I found the explanations pretty good. Then I decided to read the version for non-autistic men.

The only difference between the two versions was the shape and color of the clock. That's it, same explanations otherwise.

I just read a comic booklet provided by a French organization specialized in comic books explaining medical acts.

They let you choose if you're a boy, a girl, a woman, or a man, and if you have autism or not, or you have a motor disability to adapt the comic to you. Which is nice, in theory.

I just saw a picture from when I was in high school that was tagged "from 23 years ago"... Thanks, I wasn't feeling old today until just now...

Also, say what you want about the French health care system, but getting my teeth fixed is costing absolutely nothing out of pocket, everything is taken care of without private health insurance.

I just realized, I don't even know the name of the dentist I saw today, four different dentists work in that dentist office, and the one I saw didn't introduce themselves.

Dentist appointment done, they gave me four more appointments over the 6 weeks to treat the two cavities that have been causing me issues.

I called that dentist 2 months ago, they told me the waiting list for an appointment was 2 years, I'm glad I said that I didn't care, put me on the list.

10 minutes ago, I was told that I have a dentist appointment in now 35 minutes... Not long to get mentally ready, but also not giving much of a chance to overthink it and bail.

Plus tot aujourd'hui, j'ai annulé mon abonnement Office, parce qu'ils allaient me faire payer plus et me forçait a utiliser leur AI de merde. Non merci.

Yeah, it's the same here in France, while I like the idea of people giving me extra money, I really dislike the idea of having to pay a fine and being audited, so I discourage tipping.

Finally called up a dentist I saw a few years back hoping he could see me. Nope, he's currently not working for some reason.

Called the only dentist office in my town, across the street from me. They can't see me, I'm on the waiting list... might get an appointment in 2 years they said.

Finally talked to them, after about 15 minutes.

Turns out the reason one of my taxes nearly tripled this year is because my town decided to fuck over small businesses and there is nothing I can do about it.
