if it is helpful: cross stitch doesn't require a transfer of anything, you count the squares and fill in as you go.
this lovely peice is embroidery, something i have no skills in lol. it's more free form then counted cross stitch patterns.
I also like cross stitch as a task to keep my hands busy ♡
