A man who has never learned that actions have consequences should never be allowed to start a war.
a screenshot of a text sent from a personal shopping service from the grocery store. The shopper has sent the text message "Sorry, your 'Ripe' preference for Banana wasn't available. Your shopper went ahead and grabbed this instead." -- which is followed by a photo the shopper took of an entire banana display shelf at the store, holding about 100 bananas, giving the impression that they will be replacing a single ripe banana with all the bananas that are available at the store.
Currently searching the local bookstore's website for "1,000 Things to Make With Bananas in Them" 😳
This article is problematic, to say the least.
As someone who funds NPR, I would like the author and editor to get on this account and answer questions in the comments.
I expect more from NPR, on a lot of levels -- those who created this have an obligation to your members to explain themselves.
But have you considered all the benefits of... do?
We genuinely need a revival of virtue in the United States.
In my view, that’s almost as critical a project as any other structural reform project necessary in the wake of trumpism. We should become a society that actually values human life such that we would feel shame about this.
i am not at all happy with this information, and it's making my brain hurt a little. 🤣
It's not an ELECTRIC LIGHT Orchestra...
it's an Electric LIGHT ORCHESTRA.
It's just a description.
All of my flabbers are ghasted.
I need a nap.
According to the band, it is, in fact, a reference to them playing electric instruments, and they consider their music a genre variation of orchestral music that they coined "light orchestra"... like "heavy metal" or "soft rock" or "smooth jazz"... (cont)
Image is the album artwork for "The Very Best of Electric Light Orchestra: All Over The World". It is an illustration of a brightly-colored and luminescent flying-saucer shaped disc, appearing to be made up of shiny metal and glass in a rainbow of colors, with the initials "ELO" in cursive adorning the center of the disc, which is flying in space high above the planet Earth. There is a trail of light extending beyond the apparent spaceship, giving the appearance that this ship is flying at a high rate of speed across space, or possibly has arrived at Earth from somewhere far away.
Today, I learned that the band "Electric Light Orchestra" was not named after a wide array — an orchestra, if you will — of colorful electric lights, like their brightly-colored, luminescent logo seems to imply... (cont)
Still find the legal semantics regarding device access to be PROFOUNDLY problematic
No matter design or methodology, a key's a key, and a lock's a lock – the State's ability to force someone to unlock a device should NEVER depend on a key or lock design
The end result is 100% identical, regardless
I think there's a huge technical issue going on right now in the transfer -- I'm repeatedly getting "sorry, there was a technical error" messages in the search bar (even without typing anything into it), and TONS of accounts are showing zero views on their most recently uploaded / created videos.
“I don’t do politics” is a wild stance to have when the government is killing people on the street and lying about it

Beautiful piece! The Greek goddess Athena was often pictured with an owl (Athene noctua (Little Owl)), in works of art and on ancient Grecian coins.
Stopped by a watch shop today to get the battery replaced in my Mom's watch. The guy took care of it in just a few minutes, and thanked me for the business.
I replied "Thanks for your time."
Ay-ooooo... I do Dad jokes even when I don't mean to.
A black and white photo of Aaron Foster, with his feet resting up on the desk, with a mug of coffee or tea in his hand.
"Charles Bukowski famously asked:
'Can you remember who you were,
before the world told you who to be?'
I am 53 years old, and I can honestly say... I'm not sure.
But I'm trying.
I am trying... as hard as I can."

No I won't!
You can't make me!

Photograph of a traffic light without power, no lights on
Apparently downtown St Louis has decided to get in a festive holiday mood, because random lights all over the downtown area have been blinking red for more than a week now — as if traffic wasn’t bad enough with some people completely ignoring the lights when they’re working properly 😳
My wish for you this year:
I hope that every time you walk into a room, you remember why ❤

Kira Ariayna: giving "death from above" a whole new twist 😀
This cat just put its paws on its hips, stared me right in the eye, and said "Look here, mister..."
I was going to give a shout-out to the old-school Brach's mints that had the "X X X" design on them... turns out Brach's hasn't made them in so long, it appears that the Internet doesn't even remember them 😭 They were so good! They would calm my stomach no matter what I'd put in there to upset it.
One of my favorites is the "wrap every inch of the tree in white lights as far up as we can reach but don't get the ladder out because that would be too much" 😂 You can always tell who the tall people are in the neighborhood 🤣
Interesting choice, wearing that red coat Senator...
"A Stubborn Angry Woman From Minnesota" sounds like a book that I would read while shoveling hot chocolate and candied popcorn into my face-hole. 😂❤️
*taps the sign*
that looks great on you! 😍
