I probably need to get into learning how to do my eyebrows as the hair on my one eyebrow us slowly falling out more π
I considered the eyebrow tattoos too because as Alopecia progresses, I don't know how this will look.
But yeah no rush to that.
Have a good time!!!! β€οΈβ¨οΈ

I'm not saying this to be a jerk, because I think it's a good conversation about how the goal is not to "restore" but to reimagine and build. Going back isn't viable for a lot of us or SAFE and it's not allowing us to imagine a better future.
Whose idea of "virtue" would we be restoring?
I'd argue we never had that to begin with for a verrryyy long time.
If I said a PARTICULAR group of people have been screaming the solutions to ya'll for generations (and warnings) BUT "society" continues to ignore it because they would have to let go of some power to do the work...would ya'll be mad and still not do anything? Also, whose definition of "virtue"?

my art print gallery on INPRNT showing that prints are 40% off
I know I don't go to many art market events, BUT I do have some of my prints on my inprnt shop!
Right now prints are 40% off πΌοΈ π β¨

I find that it really depends on where and some hotels purposely raise prices knowing an event is happening nearbyβ¦. I havenβt had to do all that myself yet.
Anyway, I'll be updating patreon today (for monthly goals and timelapse uploads) and I have a commission to start. πβ¨οΈ
Yeah! I don't get upset about it too much because people take buisness cards and will follow on socials etc. I know people can't buy everything and that's okay! π
We tried....that's all the matters π
(this was at FanExpo Philly from last year).
We stay home now βοΈπΌπβ¨οΈ
(Note: I am not a baller at home I just...make more sales at home...I am not a rich girly)
Also...random hiccups with events themselves, merch (my banner for example came out more red lol) and all of that is stressful.
The organization of events (or lack thereof) can be a huge turn-off, especially if I financially make more off commission work AT HOME.
Ty!!! πβ¨οΈβ¨οΈ
It was good to experience but I feel like FOR ME it's not the best (although it can be fun!). It's not financially good to me. So I won't be doing it often unless things get better....π₯² (we often only make the table cost back).
So, yes be nice everyone to creators at art cons and art markets. ππ
I don't think I like tabling at cons and art markets MOSTLY because of the factor of financial risk. I do like meeting people yes (apparently I am good at socializing lol)...it's just that even local events for me have been financially HARD and I wouldn't have been able to do it without a friend.π§΅
Even in the art space you'll be pushed into a box OR you will be forced to water yourself down for the sake of an "opportunity".
I feel like we lost great artists to that....It's like they had to "tone it down" to appease peers in order to stay in the space everyone else got to occupy.
I saw a post about the "racial profiling" of a student's art in art school and....YEAHHH....YEAHHH.
It also does not stop after, it goes into job seeking, viewing your portfolio, and interactions with non-Black or POC clients.
It's not just you who will get racially profiled, your art will too.
Valid...π

π They need to pay rent or do some powerful work in the spiritual realm to give us some luck or something LOL

My orange cat Garrett looking up randomly (he hears something)
Garrett needs to stop playing and tell me where the ghost is at so I can ask them to pay some bills ORRRR go haunt someone for me.ππππ
LOL I use these for sketching BUT I hate when the cap gets stuck and I damn near break the pen π
Which is why having the whole box is nice π€
Will keep drawing tomorrowβ¦ we took Luna to the vet today so all I got to work on was some doodles and a study BUT thatβs still something πβ¨
