Itβs been a busy few weeks full of learning and knowledge sharing! I attended and presented at the @rspb.bsky.social shorebird symposium. Presented at the Tendring local groups meet up and also attended the wildlife trusts living seas conference. Absolutely loads to dwell on across the coming days.
Sanderlings, turnstones and a black-headed gull enjoying a very snowy beach entrance this morning in North-Essex.
Was not expecting to see an advert for myself today at Weeleyhall Woods. Iβll be talking about our work conserving beach-nesting birds, as well as our other marine projects for the Tendring Local group.

Hi everyone, Iβm Adam, Coastal Ranger at Essex Wildlife Trust. Iβll try to post about what Iβm up to in my day to day role. For now hereβs some of the best photos from this years beach-nesting bird season. Part of my role is to monitor and protect little tern, oystercatcher and ringed plover nests.
Hi Jupiter, Iβve only just got onto BlueSky so sorry itβs late! Iβm Adam, the coastal ranger at EWT and one of the people who picked the art competition winners. We absolutely loved Amelias entry and weβve had some lovely feedback from Hanningfield that everyone else has loved it too! Well done π
