I'm sorry for your loss.
And yes, I thought Dench.
Why is everything so stupid now?
ever since that post I've been afraid to check news
Wait, what? *looks for news*
Finished reading @aliettedebodard.com βs The Tea Master and the Detective and Iβd like to read the next book in the series please.

I had one the first time I went to Jewel, too!
No, that's just marketing.

How, in the face of AI hype, do I teach this?
It's no surprise that I've given AI a go - not least because I'm grappling with how it's affecting students.
I've found the effort of rewriting and checking the output of LLMs means I'm saving no time. I'm better off with a search engine or a database and my own writing skills.
cheking out the options listed here - realistically I'm kinda locked in to the systems that my work uses, so I doubt I'll move much, but you might find this useful

Also, I havenβt seen or used the word βmenhirβ for years.
Watched a bit of the first episode of Asterix - and remembered that the names are different in French, because of course they are (and the jokes are different).
Switched to the English dub and then remembered why I dislike dubs (even good ones, which this is).
