Then he and Adam would speculate about what happened to her as a child that caused her to be so unhealthy that she was either hyper sexual or repressed.

When I watch it (briefly) on MTV everything a woman did was a sign she’d been sexually abused. Wanted to have sex? Didn’t want to have sex? Wanted to strip privately for her boyfriend? Didn’t want to undress in front of boyfriend? Abuse.

I don’t understand it either.

I think this is a great argument, beautifully constructed

Guys who lean into the rugged masculinity look, talk tough and act as if only they have the answer to whatever the problem is generally are under qualified and thin skinned. Any pushback, advice or questions are an attack, “cancelling” or a threat.

The last couple of decades of encountering guys who look and talk like this has trained me to believe “threatened to rip my life apart” means some people pointed out that some of things about him might be an issue for voters.
