It honestly doesn't even occur to me to do things with other people most of the time. I have to remind myself that I should probably invite a friend every now and again.

Yes. I think there’s a time for friends but it shouldn’t be the default. Especially when it comes to things that demand attention/concentration. I hate going to the cinema with other people. I don’t even like being there with strangers. I try and go to an early showing when it’s almost empty.

Don’t give a shit if going to the pub on your own to have a pint and write your book is deemed sad.
