A β˜…β˜…β˜…Β½ review of Maps to the Stars (2014) Having a longtime desire to break into movie making, Cronenberg illustrates how I dodged a bullet. And that you should always invest in decent post production fire effects.

So everyone in LA and the movie biz is crazy? Got it. My review of MAP TO THE STARS. #FilmSky

It honestly doesn't even occur to me to do things with other people most of the time. I have to remind myself that I should probably invite a friend every now and again.

Yes. I think there’s a time for friends but it shouldn’t be the default. Especially when it comes to things that demand attention/concentration. I hate going to the cinema with other people. I don’t even like being there with strangers. I try and go to an early showing when it’s almost empty.

Don’t give a shit if going to the pub on your own to have a pint and write your book is deemed sad.

I’ve just been to the cinema on my own!

It’s not loneliness. It’s a choice.

Got to say, Robert Aramayo’s father reaction to his son wining a BAFTA is how you expect a parent to react, and then some. Very touching moment and well deserved. #BAFTAS

A β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜… review of The Singers (2025) Fuck me. That got emotional in a very short time.Β  Also, made me realise how cool the lyrics are to House of the Rising Sun.

Forgot how cool House of the Rising Sun is.

Is when he's a drunk”
