I'm looking forward to conducting and sharing more research on carbon and biodiversity credits for conservation and restoration projects, and how they are being portrayed as major market based solutions by governments, industries, and NGOs to tackle the climate crisis in both Canada and globally.

Also, narratives and terminology on how climate solutions are portrayed, with 'taxes' bearing negative connotations and 'credits' being perceived as positive, need to be understood better since the actual impacts of taxes and carbon credits are vastly different than their public perceptions.
