But simply doing something for yourself that involves a salon or medspa isn’t the definition of it.
Harper found ways to learn her worth simply through coming back to @jentakesconfessions nail studio every 2-3 weeks for months and then years, often encouraged by her husband @charmingmanhudson.
When we pause to pamper ourselves, rest, get beauty treatments, or take personal time to do what makes us feel ready to face a new day, rested, peaceful, and filled with self-love - NONE of that is vanity.
Does vanity exist? Of course!
As @Harperhasnicenails often says - self-care is not vanity. She says this most often as a reminder to herself.
