i get that but i mean like it doesnt always have to be an endgoal rather just something that happens and if it does cool and if not whatever we're besties

because if you go into a relationship wanting to date them immediately things can crop up, shortcuts you make just to get closer instead of building it naturally

i think its desperation and like putting your ideal self out there and not what makes you yourself makes it all so ingenuine
call me old but i believe in the good friend to dating pipeline instead of the "i really want a partner let me look for one specifically" mindset
